Lunches
Goosewell's school meals are cooked on the premises by our school catering team. It is possible to see the present menu from the link below. Our meals service aims to provide varied, balanced meals with a choice of four main courses with vegetables or salad, yogurt or fruit and a sweet everyday. Also milk, pure fruit juice and squash are provide for the children with their meal. Parents are welcome to visit the school to see and taste the meals provided. Payment for lunch is £13.75 a week or £2.75 a day which should be paid online via School Money.
Packed Lunches
Pupils and parents may opt for them/their child to have a packed lunch.
Remember!
Foundation Stage, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal.
Universal Infant Free School Meals and Free School Meals
Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2
All pupils in these year groups are entitled to receive a school meal at no cost as part of the Universal Infant Free School Meals grant.
At the end of Year 2
Universal Infant Free School Meals will cease as your child joins Year 3 in September. All school meals will now require payment via SchoolMoney
You would have received information regarding Schoolmoney including a user guide either when we switched to this system, or when your child started school. If you are unable to login please contact the school office.

Free School Meals
If you are in receipt of the following support payments, your child may be entitled to receive free school meals:
- Universal Credit – from 1 April 2018 provided you have an annual net earned income of no more than £7,400, as assessed by earnings from up to three of your most recent assessment periods
- Income Support (IS)
- Income-based Jobseekers Allowance (IBJSA)
- Income-related Employment and Support Allowance (IRESA)
- The guaranteed element of Pension Credit
- Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
- Child Tax Credit (provided you’re not also entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual gross income as assessed by Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs, that does not exceed £16,190)
- Working Tax Credit run-on - paid for 4 weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit
Children who get paid these benefits directly, instead of through a parent or guardian, can also get free school meals.
